Description
Cincinnati is an Ohio River town built on travel and commerce. Once a year they would pick a night for the lights to stay on, to showcase the beauty of downtown.
Taken with a Hasselblad 500c and 50mm F4.0 Zeiss Distagon, on Kodak VPS color negative film, in 1988.
As I'm a documentary photographer, I chose to include the other, very smart, photographers who decided this was the best spot. If you shoot at dusk, you do not get to move to another location. I do not remember entering this into any competition, for a fact it hasn't won any awards.

Interesting fact...The Roebling Bridge (the Cincinnati-Covington Bridge) was the world's longest suspension bridge (1,057 feet) and the model for the Brooklyn Bridge completed 14 years later.
