Quite a few movies have been filmed there.
Did you visit the John Ford place that was there?

(John Ford is the guy who directed a lot of the
John Wayne movies. I hope I don't have to explain who John Wayne was )

Yeah we were told on the tour we did through the valley. No we didn't get a chance too. I was on a Contiki tour and had to do whatever they did. The John Ford place was never even mentioned unfortunately. Wouldn't have minded to go there now that you have mentioned it.
Haha no you don't have to explain who John Wayne was, John Ford I had no idea on, John Wayne I'm fine.

Thank you very much. I think so too. I actually took this photo in November, which is heading into their winter. So you would be more worrying about the cold at this point of time. Although you can't tell from this shot. I was freezing.

Yeah we were getting to below 32F at night. And had snow by the time we got to the Grand Canyon. It was beautiful.
