I like the contrast of white and blue, makes it look bold.

I like the angle and that statue is lovely!

Thank you very much. I've been trying to get high contrasts in photos lately, as it makes them stand out and become more impressive.

What a beautiful shot of it! It looks as if it could be a postcard! The solid pure blue of the sky gives nothing to distract you from the angel, and the carving's beauty itself is showed off quite well by the lighting. You shot this at a great angle, and a marvelous time of day for the subject! Great job!

Thank you very much. It was quite a day indeed, the sky was brilliant blue and had to drop some speed and use the tripod to reduce it to the pure indigo colour. At the same time, low speed was a good choice after all for the marble showed up alot better.
