This is a picture of Rapunzel from the 2009 disney film...which obviously isn't out yet.This is a picture I did after a HUGE mental block on what to draw so I decided to do some more fan art I was going to do Giselle from Enchanted but I thought, Rapunzel hasn't really had that much attention yet. So here is my ode to Rapunzel!

Yeah this was one of the early promo pictures for the film from 2008. I mentioned it in my information bit above. It's from a phase i went through of finding pictures and trying to do them myself.

I can tell they're not the same because the lines are not the same around her eyes and her dress. Can you explain the situation here ? Like whether you're the original artist or did you copy and/or modify the image, use as a reference, etc, etc (if you did so you should give credit, etc, etc). Sorry if this bothers you but I just had some trouble with art theft and is a little suspicious

I did this 3 years ago when I was only just starting out with Corel Painter and stuff. What I did was find the image9the same one that you linked) and then completely redrew it from scratch looking at that image as a reference. I did a few drawings like this when I first started drawing on the computer. Thats why it doesn't look exactly like it but very very similar. I used some colours from it too which is probably the biggest cheat about it but this was just a fun little project for me. I didn't really know about credit and stuff then and I do realise I should probably change my artists comment. And I will do that now. Thank you for being polite about it though

I'm so excited for this movie. I love Kristin Chenoweth and there hasn't been a great original Disney cartoon in a good many years. I love this.

I am very excited for this movie. I figured out when I was four that Rapunzel was the only chick disney had not given props too, and it has been bothering me for years
