A cautionary tale for using GIMP. so poor Kaede was supposed to have a shadow and more shading but GIMP had an epic crash and when I recovered my file it had merged all the layers I was working on and it became impossible for me to do the finishing touches but its still a nice piece and you can see where I was going with it. And for those that haven't seen the other version here's Kaede's info

Kaede better known for her airheaded expression and love of Kimono lucky for her their family own an old Kimono store so you will often see Kaede (even in chibi form ) in a kimono. When not working at the store she wears her hair down and has flower hairclip accessories.
