Gabby is a cheeky, flirty mare, who's just got a bit too much chub. She's easy-going, but very protective and can get in a full bitch-mode. For some reason she doesn't like women and small dogs. She'll be sulky if she gets her food too late, even if it's just minutes, you can literally see her blaming you for being late and won't take any food out of your hand, even if you stand right in front of her. She'll try and sneak around you to get to the rest of it (and seriously, you've never seen a big mare trying to be sneaky like she does.)
No one knows who her dam was, but when she was purchased a quick genetic test showed she was sired by Gringo (he once escaped his paddock after a storm and was found in a herd of mares from a neighbour's stable, trying to woo them, while Taz was standing outside calling for him, which was how they were found.).
Gaby enjoys the cold weather far more than the summer heat and it's hard to get her to work once she starts sweating, she'll just get stubborn and tries everything to get away.
