After the winter in the mountains, it was a welcome change to experience the early spring again, not yet too hot but also not freezing cold anymore. Haru and her mare adjusted quickly and enjoyed the different kind of forest. Magical like the woods around Evergreen Hills, but in a different way. No strange fox pixies that could hex you or Kelpies that try to drown you in the lake, at least Haru hadn't encountered one yet. She thought about the next stop of their trip, after the event. She had planned to visit the stable that sold her the very mare under her saddle, see how they were doing. Maybe she could even spot Snips' wild living herd that she lost when she was new born and scrawny. Nothing compared to the proud horse she was now. But as always, everytime Haru got lost in her thoughts, the redwoods seemed to pull her back with another magical sight, be it the lighting or the trees themselves. The whole place seemed to scream 'look at me' and with a chuckle Haru noticed it had the same effect on her mare, Snips took in everything with interest and her ears searched for every sound.
"You like it too, huh." She softly spoke to the horse, who immediately turned her head towards her rider with a soft, agreeing snort.
