Yeah it's kinda weird like that, but it also makes them much better for studying or casually listening to while reading a book. Not as distracting and still enjoyable while taking it in at a different pace.

i need music while drawing, not sure about reading book
game ost have upbeat feeling to it giving motivation

Aaah it's really addicting. I'm a writer so I love reading and studying other peoples styles myself. Of course it also works for manga too XD.

Of course they count as books! A Graphic Novel is still a Novel!

And yep. Mostly fiction! That's why I commission! I feel I can get a better grasp on the character if I have a visual to go along with them as I write, and remind myself of their appearance the little details from their expression.

That’s okay XD. As long as everyone has fun it’s worth it I say! Half of writing is self satisfaction anyway so if I’m happy then I feel I succeeded.
