Mouse lang gamit nun eversince nung nagdigital coloring sya.
then nagka tablet lang yun about 6 months back.
ako din nagumpisa magkulay using mouse. madami rin ako nagawa using mouse. see these as a sample [link] [link]
Now im using a tablet, hindi nga lang wacom. hehehe... genius alng gamit ko. siguro $50?
You can buy the cheaper ones but wacom is still a worthy investment for your trade.

If I plan on coloring a black and white drawing, I usually keep it in mind before I start inking to make sure that I don't do much shading in ink, since you can shade using darker colors when you go to color the picture instead. I'm no expert! Just passing on what I try to do.
