Turns out that when I went through Asra’s route with Hassan... I didn’t feel anything. No feels, no chemistry between them... nothing that inspired me to draw one single pic of them. So as soon as I was done with it, I immediately hopped on Julian’s route, and the outcome was surprisingly different.
Julian’s route started out bittersweetly and it gave me so many ideas for pictures that I did through the course of it, so... brace yourselves XD

I felt really similar when doing the two routes. While I enjoy Asra's aesthetic and his sacrifice...it just didn't have the pull that Julian's story did for me. I think part of it was that there were too many times where I wanted to grab Asra by his shirt, shake him, and go, "LISTEN TO ME!"

Personally I can’t stand Asra. He gets on my everlasting nerve, he so cocky. For some reason he gives off that r/niceguy aura, like ‘I sacrificed a piece of my heart for you, you belong to me bitch’.

Yeah, a lot of his stuff comes off like, "Wow...I know you're supposed to be a lot like a cat with the whole aloof and wandering off stuff, but tone it down a bit?"
I love the "pay your rent" drawings/memes/comics people have done about him though.
