Now that you mention it, it did feel like that while drawing her! She felt too massive to be caught on this tiny canvas and it was really tough to set just a part of her there.

Speaking of whales, I did a drawing of Spock swimming with a hunchback whale some time ago. I adored drawing it. Whales are just so huge O_O

That's pretty cool. "Messy and crazy" paintwork up close, but when you look back you can clearly see a blue whale from a 3D perspective. Nicely done.

Thanks! I was generally just relaxing with this piece, but I'm glad I'm hearing positive things of it! I usually draw a nd paint with infinite amount of time put into singular works and refining it forever so this is certainly something different.
