Not much in the timeline would have changed. Harry's step parents would have been nicer to Harry. Snape would have been nicer to Harry. Harriet and Hermione would have gone to the Hogwarts Ball dance as each other's dates. Ron would not have left Harriet and Hermione in the woods.

So your argument is that if Harry Potter had been female instead of male, she would have had no problems and her life would have been absolutely perfect? Pretty sure that's not how gender works. Also, having theΒ Dursley family and Snape be nicer to Harriet would probably cause some major changes to the plot.

Actually if the Harry Potter world were to be gender bent it'd be Harriet Evans because Lilly would be the dad and James would be the mom sorry I have to point this out from now on
