Happy Independence Day (Fourth of July), everyone!!!

Since I noticed this holiday was coming right this way, I thought it would be perfect for my “MAURICE, PHENIX, & MODESTE™”, another yet unofficial series for MARVIN & MIKE™…

Even though their children are somehow French, they still have blood from their father (Marvin) and they are also neutralized citizens of Marvin’s country (and even legalized citizens of France, too, for Josephine). So without any hesitation, here they are,….CELEBRATING INDEPENDENCE DAY!!!

Here we have Modeste getting his firework blaster ready and all of the sudden, something zoomed towards the sky and KABOOM!!!

The sparks of the fireworks happen to make 50 sparks, which are 50 stars from the American flag along with the white and red stripes. The stripes also have those verses:

“O say can you see by the dawn's early light,
What so proudly we hailed at the twilight's last gleaming,
Whose broad stripes and bright stars through the perilous fight,
O'er the ramparts we watched, were so gallantly streaming?
And the rockets' red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there;
O say does that star-spangled banner yet wave,
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave?”

That’s right! It’s USA’s national anthem, which was originally a poem by Francis Scott Key (August 1, 1779 – January 11, 1843) and was made into an anthem, which the melody was formed by John Stafford Smith (March 30, 1750 – September 21, 1836). No matter what for us Americans, a song in our souls grew listening and singing this anthem…

Anyway, as for the rest, they decided to salute and listen along the anthem as those jets from the military (like every July 4th somehow) would do some amazing performances at sunset before lighting up fireworks!

And to celebrate this, too, I would love to present you a music of our national anthem by playing one piece of music from Spielbrug’s POLTERGEIST soundtrack! This is the first part which they played a TV signal off with that song. (Couldn’t find a separate one, so you might have to just listen only this first music, if you want).

Note: Because I realized that there are French and part-French characters here, I am planning a picture that’ll celebrate Bastille Day (Le Quatorze Juillet “Fourtheen of July), which is Independence Day in France!
