That's funny, I thought she'd be pretty angry after what he put her through

I guess one of her best qualities that make her liked by the other animals is her ver forgiving nature

Isn't Franklin supposed to be mad at Mrs. Fox for almost marrying another fox? Oh well, yay! Happy ending!

You make a good point! Now that you mentioned it, Mrs Fox got off to easily for cheating, without a a good alibi. And the victim card certainly wouldn’t be an excuse

Etienne2 In reply to EldritchLJThurston [2018-08-22 22:51:59 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, it's not like she has a reason to remarry unlike in Grimm's Fairy Tale Classics, where Lily the maid is worried about running out of money. www.youtube.com/watch?v=hATHak…
Wait, why would the victim card not be an excuse?
You might have misunderstood my previous comment; the original story has Mr. Fox stir from his fake death and violently drive everyone out of the house. In his defense, Mrs. Fox did try to have him thrown outside without a proper funeral. www.grimmstories.com/en/grimm_…

I mean, that's how the original story goes. If I were Franklin, I'd say, "you scared me, too; now we're even!"
I guess they're both very forgiving. <3

It appears the loyalty test was successful.  Didn't think he'd make it in time after what happened with the cake.
