I've often come across random songs that I've just been like "OMG THAT REALLY REMINDS ME OF (Insert character name here)!!".

First there was Human by Ellie Goulding that I immediately taped to the Doctor, then a friend of mine comes along and basically throws Human by Christina Perri in my face screaming
"SO SHERLOCK! SO SHERLOCK! SOOOO SHERLOOOAAACKKKGHHH!!!"

Then following this quote by Steven Moffat: "Sherlock Holmes is a human that longs to be a god, The Doctor is a god that longs to be a human."
I think it would have been wrong of me not to draw something about it.

I had been planning on doing this for a while but it never went quite right.... I mean Matt, Benedict.... I love your faces but christ they are difficult to get even semi-right.

Anyways here it is. Sorry if it's hard to read.
