I found out that at Halloween time, all of the cast members at work get to wear Halloween costumes! I was originally going to use that as an excuse to get an Organization XIII coat (it IS Disney...), but they'll think I joined a cult. Then I got the idea to make a costume because most of the mass produced ones are ugly. Sooooo I decided to try Mulan! Note that I've never sewn anything before. Lol I'm gonna die.
I originally drew this on a whim to get an idea of what this costume may look like (I altered Mari a bit because I plan on getting my hair straightened around Halloween) based on a TINY waist-up screenshot from the movie I got off of Google (The gold trim accents are missing, the colors are probably wrong, etc.). Anyway, what I'm trying to say is that I'm ridiculously happy with how this drawing came out (I even put my watermark on this one)!
Lineart and coloring done of Photoshop CS2. Brushes for the background from Designfruit [link] (Thanks for mentioning this place, Sheena!).

By the way, no connect but, remember Luke (my macbook) had to get reformatted blah because of the hard drive and I lost my files etc.? I lost our Ariel psd along with it
