Description
The wind howled and Sidewinder looked up in the sky to see a storm coming from the north. Wasting no time he galloped as fast as his legs could carry him across his desert home. His dark eyes searched frantically upon the dunes for the beautiful red mare that was his pride and joy. Skidding to a stop he searched a rock cave to his right. There in the corner, huddled in the very back and shaking with fear was Karma. He stepped gently over to her and put his neck around her tightly. Sidewinder knew he had to keep her in the shelter of the cave. If she were to dash out into the lighting, now littering the sky, it would surely strike her dead.
They stayed there in the cave all night, her green eyes flashing with fear at every lightning strike.

Bleh, sorry about the crappy writing job This is just a fun picture of my stallion Sidewinder and ~Rajial 's mare Karma. We take turns drawing them together since they are mates
I'm fairly pleased with how this came out. I could've done better on Sidewinder but I can't for the life of me draw a horse facing to the right x] I think my favorite part is the clouds and lightning, they were fun to do
