Thanks for noticing this. She is my granddaughter; she lives with us and all the rest of the gang, and she is a character, all right! We have a cake ceremony every Wednesday afternoon. Speaking of Marie Antoinette...there is another for the "obsess" list, don't you think? Are you familiar with a series of European dolls named "Blythe". They have a Marie A. model. In fact there is a Blythe club at DA.

Thanks very much. When I took this picture, I just happened to notice the possibilities for a major compositional binge. I wish I could see such possibilities all the time. I think it's just a matter of training ourselves to see things differently, and working to connect things in a more balanced way.

Yes, I knew she probably did not say that, and furthermore, that the words were attributed to her by her political detractors, who are loathsome, in my opinion. I was just parroting the popular nonsense just to jolly up the picture.

Surely no Queen ever suffered more malice from her fellow human beings as did Marie Antoinette. That includes her children, as well. It was a bummer of a nasty time. What a miserable chapter in history - one of the many, I guess. Thanks.

Yes, I felt awful for her. Her people just hated her. How awful.
Also, I hate how when she died (and just wanted her children to be protected in ways) they brutally neglected them.
