But we must admit that the ending was too WTF, we were all eager to see the second part of the final, until one of the characters declares that it is the end of the series without second part, I do not want to imagine the look on his face all Japan when he saw this crazy end.
And I admit that Panty and Stocking was not the only series that sadly left to continue, there are other good franchises that had very open finale or false promises of continuations, Wander Over Yonder, the world of Quest, Banjo-Kazooie, Conker Bad fur Day, etc
