Testing, testing? hello? is this crap turned on?'Experimenting' with colors, proportions. I like how the colors of lips and the boobs look....as for the rest...ehh
Does anyone know why overall it looks too grainy and not smooth? Do you think is SAI's brushes fault?
The proportions of the torso are correct: 4 heads long! So I'll really appreciate if you don't say stuff like: 'you should have made her torso longer'. The torso is not shorter than it should be, but looks short for three reasons: the length of the legs and the boobs that hide it. A friend told me making the boobs smaller to show a bit of the waist may have solved the problem. But remember, boobs can get bigger, but smaller? never!
I really like long legs, legs that are much longer than the torso, but I think the reference I used for this one (was a bit cartoony) didn't translate too well into my style, the pose used and the 'large' boobs (at least not for the front).
Anyways have a goo 'ne.

I generally try to go with one-third proportions where the upper-torso is one third the hight, the upper legs are one-third the height, and the lower legs are the last third. It's subtly unrealistic enough

i think you draw the legs a bit too thin which make them look fragile and as you say a bit cartoony, yet i can see that the shadow is nice, you should have taken a brigthed color as darker color on darker skin doesn't really help to distinguish details, in which you should have putted some on her legs like a white tatoo of something like a flower

yeah i am always criticized for using too bright colors, i was recommended by a couple of pros that i should use a less saturated palette

well this look nice but its just the purple, a bit brigther and it would have been better as we all know, never mix a dark color with another dark color !

nah its just one mistakes you got to remember, that red latex lady you draw, the way you took the color and shade is a good example of well placed color and shades
as here its too dark the shadow hide the skirt and doesn,t let enough details, sometime you got to follow you're guts more than what others say !

Ese tipo de detalles son de los que se dan cuenta solo las personas que lo hacen! Es como cuando uno ve a un profesional jugando fΓΊtbol, facilisimo gritarle que como no va a poder driblar de x o y manera... Ah pero son otros 100 pesos estar ahΓ en el campo con la bola!
AsΓ que si, nunca he dibujado algo asΓ, pero debe tener sus trucos y de fijo requiere skills! Yo solo se cuando me gusta lo que veo

jajaja entiendo. Si uno puede dibujar dos bolas con un compas, y aunque la forma me gusta asΓ la ropa, como la luz y sombra interactΓΊa con otros objetos y otras partes del cuerpo, e incluso que la forma se vea mΓ‘s 'natural' es complejo
