Floating through the void,Pinpoint lights like raindrops
Reflecting light off a windshield
During a midnight drive
Slow rotation, the ever expanding
Nothing and everything all at once
Not a single bit of debris
Let alone a planet nor moon for eons
A presence emerges just out of view
Gravity grabs hold and gently pulls
Like a buoyant object in a sink
The drain plug has been removed
What is it that waits so patiently
Effortless action and reaction
Instinct the only guide
Unable to detect beyond periphery
Calming in nature, no need for panic
This change brings no alarm
Assuring trust the entity beckons
The pulling sensation increases
The white specks become lines
Essence is stretched, worry begins rising
Not quite fearful, curiosity is peaked
Adjustments attempted, unsuccessful
Vision blurred, time seems lost
Elongated lights return to normal
Somehow everything is out of place
An object creeps into view
A massive ball colors and hues
This new scenery breeds new hope
Ideas form from a once empty shell
