The different tones of gray really grabbed my attention. And I think it's great that the lady bug has the only color in this piece. It's great that you saw this happening and decided to take a picture. Maybe you needed to do this quickly. But I do feel that the picture would have benefited if the insect itself was more in front of the plant instead of somewhat on the side/back of it. But of course I don't now if that was possible without scaring the insect away.

There are allot of pictures like this out there. But you did manage to make one that's better then most of them. Maybe the framing isn't optimal. But it's good enough and it's is far from bad.

Again I like the mood that this gives of. It really grabbed my attention and I think it will do the same for more people. The shallow depth of field is also a big plus, the ladybug itself is perfectly in focus, and the background is blurred just right in my opinion.

This is a great piece and well above average. Keep up the good work.

i really like the shot and the black and white creates drama. it would have been even better if the ladybug was not side on - but trying to get an insect to cooperate would be impossible. overall i like it and its very good.
