Getting used to a new laptop by drawing Doc Ock, I did not realize I would enjoy him so much and I really should have seen it coming after I saw the Into the Spiderverse Doc but somehow I did not. Just goes to show how bad the comic versions haircut is that it somehow completely blocked my perception of multiple things I enjoy in a character that the second I saw one with better hair my opinion completely changed. (though, if I had gotten around to watching Spectacular Spider-man sooner instead of putting it off for later that one would have definitely sparked my appreciation too)

Anyways, one of the best things about marvel characters is that all of them have so many different designs, versions, interpretations, ect. that you can do whatever you want when drawing them even if no version actually looks like that. Mix and match favorite bits and modify them, go nuts with new stuff, marvel themselves sure do that too. (I'm sure that this drawing shows which ones i took inspiration from, it's 3 different ones and I'd be curious if anyone can recognize all of them since 1 was from something that's slightly obscure now)
