Powers: Rune is a master of Arcane Magic. This ancient type of magic allows the user to levitate objects, create blasts of energy, enhance strength and speed, transform objects...the possibilities are nearly endless and are only limited to the user's imagination. The catch is that the user can only perform a spell that is within his or her ability. This means that the user has to draw upon the magic reserve within themselves. When this magic reserve is gone, they cannot perform any more magic until they recharge. Completely depleting a magic reserve leaves the user weak and ill-a full recharge can take days.

When a spell is performed, a string of ancient runes can appear. The symbols that appear are unique to each person. A magic circle can appear when the user is performing an especially powerful magic.

Rune holds highest level of mastery of Arcane Magic. The gold markings on his body are tattoos that show his mastery. Each Master's tattoos are slightly different.

The practice of Arcane Magic has vanished in the modern world, so his power is an oddity to most people.

Personality: Rune is a quiet guy. He doesn't say much, but when he does speak, his words are always carefully chosen. He rarely smiles, but when he does it really comes from his heart. Some people see him as gloomy, but actually, Rune is often in deep thought, dreaming up his next spell or a story to write. Rune has had a lot of trouble adjusting to modern "technology" but is helped by his friend Havoc. Rune identifies a lot with Momo the Tiger, who is also bad with technology.

Info:  Rune is from 500 years in the past. As a hatchling, Rune was taken from his home by an ancient organisation of sorcerers. These sorcerers often took children with high aptitude for magic from their homes and trained them in their ways. As such, Rune does not remember his parents or if he had any siblings. He was taught spellcasting and sorcery and perfected this art under his new strict masters. His masters often remarked that he had an extremely high aptitude for the arcane arts, even among their organisation.

Rune does not speak much of the methods of how he was taught...he hints to others that the methods were often cruel, but effective. (Perhaps Rune will reveal more at a later time!) The golden markings on Rune's body are a symbol of his mastery over Arcane Magic and glow when he is using an especially high amount of magic.

Rune believed that the organisation that kidnapped him was "wrong" and he sought to end it. One night while Rune was chanting and preparing a rather complex spell in order to traverse dimensions, he was rudely interrupted by a small earthquake. This caused Rune to lose concentration and the half formed spell spun out of control, violently tearing open a hole in space and time. This space-time tear sucked Rune in, and he was deposited unceremoniously into Havoc the Wildcat's house. Extremely disoriented and confused, Rune blundered around, accidentally destroying half of Havoc's house with the remainder of the out of control spell energy. He met an enraged Havoc in the hallway, where she attacked him, thinking that he was an enemy...naturally, Rune attacked Havoc back, still half sick from the journey he had just been through. Eventually, the two figured out that the whole thing was just a misunderstanding!

At first, Rune was desperate to find a way back to his own place and time, but eventually, Rune accepted that he may never find a way home. He now lives near Havoc, and the two have become close friends. Havoc is Rune's guide to the modern world! Rune has adapted fairly well to the modern world, as he has a very logical mind and can see how things work... but he still gets confused at times about modern things. Rune is also friends with Momo the Tiger, and they discuss fighting techniques and practice together.
