Description Photo from my recent 3 months trip to Japan. I love that country more than words can possibly convey, and hopefully some of these images will help to share the awesome experiences I had and the amazing things I saw.

I think this is my favourite of all my photos taken in Japan. I have no idea what this little shrine is called (I don't think it was even in my trusty Lonely Planet book), but it was absolutely stunning. Picture-perfect traditional Japan, no?

Yeah, picture-perfect traditional Japan, alright.
Save for the orange bridge.

For some reason, the bridge looks modern.

The red-orange bridge is beautiful. Pictures need some colour, you know...

True, but when I picture traditional Japan, I think serenity, and the eye-capturing orange kinda takes that away.

I love the colours they use in shrines and (some) temples. Bright red toriis make any view exciting.
