Speaking of paper or plastic, I once had a woman climb all over my ass in line at the supermarket because I answered that very question with, "I don't care!" She attracted a LOT of attention by going on about how plastic bags last forever in a landfill an how only an idiot doesn't care about the environment . . .

I completely shut her up (to the amusement of onlookers) when I asked her, "but don't they have to cut down trees to make paper?"
