She's back, everybody. And she's packing sweets.

I don't think I've expressed my genuine joy from this show, and I can't recall the last time an isekai anime skipped all the commonly appreciated isekai tropes, like adventure and fantastic beasts, and still manages to look genuinely good and enjoyable. Likewise, I can't recall last time I've seen a reverse-harem story that was actually good and not just a reverse trope on the male harem supremacy. (Well actually I can, that was Yona Of The Dawn, go watch it, it's great). So, I figured, Bakarina here could use a moment in the spotlight by getting her own deck.

As for the deck choice, there was "some" dispute, but the very first suggestion I got from posts that asked that question said "Madolche". And I thought to myself "Hm, yeah, that makes sense. Was only a matter of time before some sweet-tongue called dibs on those, might as well be the one living in an actual Madolche Chateau". Anyway, Katarina is an absolute treat of a character with a funny trope and an interesting character development, if anyone deserved this sweet, sweet diabolical diabetes of a deck, it's her. Story-wise, I'm willing to bet she ran some Archfiends or some other stuck-up rich girl Maleficent-themed deck in her days way, way before she turned good, and then decided to change her deck to suit her new character as part of her plan to avoid any doom flags. In fact, if anyone ever gets to write that particular fanfic, I'd absololutely love to see the good Katarina use Madolches to face off against her evil self using the evil deck in some final duel in her own soul or something. I mean, Yugi did it with Atem, why not make it a bit more dramatic?
