Description

The Oceia Region is a region in the southern hemisphere of the Pokemon World. Known for its arid climate and home to both many different peoples and a wide array of rare Pokemon that cannot be found anywhere else, Oceia is naturally home to a large number of Pokemon trainers seeking to test their mettle against each other.

Home to esteemed Pokemon Conservationist Professor H. Banksia, Oceia has become a leader in the field of Pokemon ecology. However, the many rare species of Pokemon in the region has also attracted many ne'er-do-wells who try to poach and sell them on the black market for high prices. The most successful of these criminal organisations: Team Raider has been a constant thorn in the side of authorities and Pokemon Rangers alike, and operate all over the region.

In recent months, some tourists and locals alike have claimed to see an aurora building up at night around the cultural touchstone of the region: Sky's End, some even claiming to have seen a large serpentine Pokemon in the sky. If these rumours are to be believed, these sightings would be of the region's legendary creator and destroyer: Chromaboros. However, such claims are as of yet unsubstantiated.
