This piece is the first of likely many song-inspired pics, taking off from the above song but also in part inspired by a fanfiction written by ScaraMedn called Hereafter. Not a story for the easily offended or those put off by erotic references and scenes (I tend to gloss over those in favor of the story itself), but it's a fantastic mythological take on "Heaven" and "Hell."
I'm not happy about everything here of course, and could probably spend 20 minutes listing things I wish were different, but it's already taken 8 cumulative hours to make using acrylic, watercolor, standard graphite, and colored pencil, and there isn't much I can tweak now, so it will stand as is.

Fun fact: you can modify a shotgun to look superficially like just about any other long-barreled gun out there. For reference on some examples of what shotguns look like:Β www.tacticsandgear.com/wp-contβ¦Β
And the title is a reference to the song inspiration, not meant to be nit-picked for accuracy to the specific weapon type depicted even if it weren't within bounds of being a real shotgun variety. "Angel with a Kalashnikov" doesn't quite sound as good in a song.

I wouldn't go so far as to say that; there are plenty of things I think could be better about this piece. But only practice irons out the kinks.
