- Iron Head - Ever wonder what it's like to get hit with a steel beam? Well wonder no more, as Maki will use her favored and only snake companion to whack the curiosity hard out of you, usually leaving the intended target stunned for a brief moment, enough for her to make another move.

- Fairy Wind - Using the secret art of ninjitsu and/or witchcraft along with some handy dandy fans, she has the power to cause a sparkling wind with a twirling dance. It looks pretty, but can still hurt with the sharp gust.

- Astonish - Either using her snake or deceptive charm, she will strike an attack and maybe give a war cry while doing so, her unpredictability can catch the other off guard and cause them to reel from it, allowing her to make another move.
Ability: Hyper Cutter - Thanks to her natural ability as well as training for focus, she can always strike a powerful punch, not prone to having her strength reduced by another's attempt.

- Two Fans to help combat the Agwa moisture and heat. (Also used in her attacks)
- A nicely designed black and gold bag of treats for her and her companion.
Personality: Maki can be fairly social and happy, not exactly shying away from the chance to speak to someone. She also tends to be easy going, but stumbles in conversation, especially when making a first impression. Still she has a good amount of wonder and fascination about everything, since she grew up rather secluded with her family and a few others. Being raised in tradition, she is very dutiful and respectful, not causing trouble on purpose unless she is challenged or provoked. This is thanks to the belief that she shouldn’t start fights, but do her best to end them, preferably with a peaceful solution at first. However, when she is indeed provoked, Maki can very much be a double edged sword to those who are unsuspecting. Her stubbornness and determination can get the better of her, often making her friendly personality turn to one of passive aggressive nature or down right competitiveness. When she is truly mad however, she will snap at others by giving snide remarks that can cut deep, if not just get into a fight with someone. Still she is fairly strong willed and not easily daunted, knowing herself well and what she can and can’t handle. Growing up in seclusion has left her with a yearning and enjoyment of learning about many things, always willing to listen to stories or read up on strange things or events.
Talents: She is able to control the snake like appendage in her hair, though it has a personality of its own. Despite it's serpentine appearance, if one were to touch it, they'd soon find out it can become as hard as steel instead of just maleable muscle. Most of the time it lays indistinguishable in her hair, which can give others quite a shock when she wants to. Being a steel type she is quite sturdy, and she, as well as many members of her family, are resiliant to quite a good amount of attacks, making them good defenders or human shields. Having trained in combat for so long, she has a good amount of muscle, as well as balance, flexibility and can be agile, though she certainly isn't the fastest out there. Great at yoga.
Weaknesses: Her stubborness can get her into a few good amount of arguements or tough situations. She will do things her own way if she really wants to, causing others to think she is reckless. Often is accused of being deceptive, though she doesn't think so, it's just witholding information afterall! Doesn't have a problem getting close to people, but often anxious and afraid of telling people about the snake in her hair. Takes critique extreamly hard to herself, but she will mask it and will put up a fight instead. Can be a bit naieve and a bit (a lot) of a bleeding heart, taking up jobs no one else wants.

Background: Maki would like to say she grew up a normal life, even if it may seem a bit odd to others. Her rather large family lived tucked away in the forest, other neighboring families and clans conglomerating to practice the warrior arts in seclusion. Each family had a specialty, the Homura family’s being training in the art of mystical inner powers.
There’s a legend surrounding the small clan. As most people have ears and tails, the Homura family, being a long line of mawiles, each grew a horn on the back of their head (though the length varied in size for each person). As children grew older, their inner powers would animate the horn, giving it its own personality; Some speculate this is thanks to a curse in the species, others say it’s possession of helpful spirits that enjoy fairy type energy, similar in fashion to how a flabebe picks a flower for life. It’s a popular tradition to celebrate with food and drink when someone’s horn was brought to life and named. Training is quickly given to the fully fledged mawiles in order to familiarize as well as synchronize themselves with their new addition and master control over the extra appendage.
Training doesn't stop there, however. Once in harmony with their companion, focus is put to fully utilize one’s strength. Maki’s family tends to uphold the status of being a protectorate clan, offering services in driving out harmful beings, specializing in wild dragons, or being hired guards for other families. Many of the females in her family took to role of being priestesses/mages, not engaging in physical combat. The males tended to do the dirty work and would practice sparring for close combat often. Maki, idolizing the determination of combat practiced more with her brothers than her sisters, soon deciding she would too uphold family tradition by becoming a guard for hire.
She spent a good deal of her life, till her late teens, training on fighting techniques. Often times she would socialize with the other families, especially enjoying the company of a mankey around her age who would often be her sparring partner or accomplice in trouble making. When he came of age however, he enlisted himself to more dangerous work. Not wanting to get left behind, Maki began taking up any job she could find that needed her expertise. She’s gotten a few clients but is still is trying to make a name for herself, never stopping her training and search for jobs to help others. Her goal is to one day become a respected name in the warrior circles, and maybe make a few of her brothers and sisters jealous.

- Along with Densuke being able to harden like steel, it can grow very large in size, sometimes unwillingly to Maki.
- She can go without feeding Densuke, but he gets very aggitated and acts out if he's hungry. She often feeds him in private and lets him have her food.
- Densuke has three eyes, never really opening the large one unless upset or for shock value.
- Is very expresionable with her body language, but her face can be the opposite at times. This makes her especially good at lying, but doesn't do it often.
