I love the brightness of this photograph. It is so vivid and detailed. I immediately think of a bright summer day. The brilliant blue sky is such a nice contrast to the yellow, and really makes the sunflower even more elegant. This is a great capture!

It makes sense that it was taken in a schoolyard. For some reason, sunflowers just remind me of fun and energy. Although, the title fits this particular sunflower best. It truly is a gorgeous bloom, and the details, perspective, and way the flower takes up most of the frame accentuates that feeling of pride.

Thanks so much for accepting my request to include this in #Poetry-In-Nature 's gallery. It means a lot to me when I can include artwork with such a unique style!
