Description I rewatched the first episode of New Getter Robo because I bought the dvd. It'd been years since I'd seen it, so I figured, why not? Big mistake. Ryoma is just too attractive, he makes my brain 404. He has such long, long legs... seeing them in animation was too much for me. I thought I could handle seeing the show again since I hadn't watched it since high school, but nop. He's still hot, I still can't watch it or else my brain will become like this comic. Go Nagai, how did you make the perfect man? I kneel.

This may or may not be coherent. I was falling asleep while drawing it. A few panels near the bottom especially, I'm pretty sure I drew them with my eyes closed. For some reason I when I start one of these, I don't rest until I finish it. So it always ends up being really late. Funnily enough, I changed my mind while drawing it in regards to the story. First I was gonna have it devolve into snu snu on the third panel, but I thought it'd be funnier to have it be a totally unrelated joke. Then I thought I was gonna end it there, but I noticed the camera kept zooming in for each panel, so why not zoom it out for a few more panels? Then I thought it'd be hilarious to have it zoom back in really fast. By that point the setup was pretty much there for what a Jane comic typically is, so I drew an obligatory kiss scene (sneed if you don't like it, kissing is better than anything else in romance.) The end.

What I love about drawing Jane comics is that I can put a whole lotta loose energy into the linework. Action and sex are closely related. In fact, sex is action, isn't it! By nature it's dynamism! S'yeah. There's nothing worse than a comic where all the figures are contour lines and just talk. You need ACTION! You need CURVILINEAR DYNAMISM! I NEED TO GO TO BED! Seriously, drawing talking scenes is the pits, I want to sunset just thinking about it. Just write a novel at that point, why even draw it. Anyway, I also love suggesting limbs, like not completely drawing them all the way, just suggesting their shape. It's fun! And fascinating. You can still tell what it is, even though it isn't completely there! Now that's amazing! What's also amazing is that I'm still awake somehow, though it feels like my eyes are going to fall out of my head at any moment. So good night, I suppose.
