Description
Picture I colored in with permission from who drew the sketch. I worked really hard on this one and may even try a few other things with it. For now though, let me know what you think.

I'd say, this is quite an impressive art. I haven't seen any of your art except the old one (Your OC) but this artwork proves that you had improved.
You have put quite an effort to do this and really deserve a well done!

I agree that I have improved since then and I know there's still a lot more room for improvement but I am happy with how this piece turned out.

As for the effect on her clothes, I used the Diffuse glow which is a type of filter on Photoshop.

Yep. It is my first attempt with shading and lighting. I think I'd like to try using layers next time, although I'm still a little unsure about it.

Layers is quite simple to use, although I need to understand some different kinds and its uses. When I shade I add a new layer, setting its transparency to 50% or a little bit more. Same goes for highlight effect. You can find some hints through the any tutorial websites.

Oh, cute! I like the hightlights; reminds me of Sonic Adventure style coloring.
My one tip: Change the color of the hat, so it doesn't match her fur color.
Other than that, you're good to go!
