Cross the Line of Good and Evil-------------------------------------------------
Tool use: openCanvas, Photoshop
Time: 4 hours

I was listening to "Chop Suey" from System of a Down when I drew this.
I was lazy, and at first only planning to draw an oekaki/practice; so I did the draft and coloring on openCanvas (great tool!)
But when I finished coloring and open Photoshop for editing, I started to play around more and more effect...
The picture ended up like this, with black and white feathers, and name and phrases.
All ideas came from Frederic's special attack in the final battle "Applaudissement Sonique."

Isn't there photoshop tutorial in DA? I came across a few of them~ Whenever I use phtoshop for coloring that's when I actually doing a completed CG, but that's time killing @ @

It took me like 5 hours on this one, but it ended up crappy (like all my drawings) and so I trashed it. (like all my drawings. XD)

If I use Photoshop to color it, it probably will take me more than 6 hours @ @ I tend to go more serious coloring by Photoshop. Using openCanvas I just feel like I can sketch out pictures and color them more freely.

I think it's just practice. Make use of the layers and their effects. Find some online tutorial and practice from them. And of course, if you want to, it's best to get a tablet; it's WAY BETTER than mouse in anyway.

Yeah feathers... some of his special attacks have feathers flying; I think they are "Piu Grave" and "Oszel Bialy" and "Applaudissement Sonique"...
