 I’ve never watched the series nor read the manga – so I can’t really review this piece based on accuracy towards the series. So I’ll just share feedback on what I see

I really like the simple style you have here – it looks quite a lot like from an animated series or a game. Nice clean neat shading that works well with the thin and delicate line art. The shadows could be a bit more dark or contrasted and perhaps having a bit more different hues – but as it is, it looks neat. Some highlights might be fun to add though. The image however has a very nice color scheme and good layout with well placed cropping. Anatomically – she looks fine, with the exception of the hand holding her hair. The palm looks somehow bulky and the fingers don’t quite bend naturally.

While this is a nice piece – very clean and well made – I can’t help but find it a little bland. There’s nothing to catch the eye or make the piece stand out. With more text added it could be a magazine cover, with something on the background it could be a poster. I guess I would just like to see more of a story within the image. Perhaps a scenery on the background or some interesting details to give her a story.

Hopefully you find my ideas useful. This is a good piece and very well carried out.

I love how you made it look drawn but also 3D like an old PS2 video game. Like an old DBZ game. I really really wanna know how you did that because it's amazing!! I never seen much of School Rumble but this is amazing!!! I love what people do with fanart <3

A pretty good image you've made here. You've managed to capture the look of the character down quite well. It may sound simple, but it can be a little more complex than most people think. It's got a cute look to it, which goes according to her bubbly personality. I will admit that it may be a bit cuter than she originally is, but that's pretty much a character design choice, and nothing really wrong with it. If anything, it helps add your own touch and style, which makes it quite unique in its own right. 

Colors are pretty decent, but I would suggest making the shading a little more obvious. They're a bit too light that they may melt a bit too easily with the base colors, to the point where you almost don't notice it. It's still good, but as I said, I would suggest making them a bit more obvious. 

Other than that. This looks like a good piece. Good job!

Hi! I'm from ProjectComment and I wanted to give you some input on your work. 

Firstly, your style is impeccable. I almost thought this was official cover are because of its quality. It wasn't until I clicked on the image to see the slight differences that make it your style. For example, your eyes have a softer touch than anime's crisper one. That's not a bad thing, it's nice, just a difference I noticed. The blouse shading is done very well, so I'm very pleased with that. The color is matched correctly and the lines are clean, very nice to see and pretty standard from anime and manga I've seen. 

I can't quite tell but it looks like there is a darker outline around Tenma vs any other line with the piece as a whole. Was that intentional to make her easier to move or an accident? Maybe add a bit more shading on her sleeve poofs to add more definition next time around.

For the style of "manga cover" it definitely works. As I stated before, I was fooled at first. Well done and please feel free to submit more work for critique for Project Comment if you want more advice on what you are doing right and what you could improve on! I loved seeing your piece and commenting on it.
