Well, that is my second attempt on colouring the sketch of my werewolf for 's contest. Hope you like it. It still needs some work.Related content

Hmm. This one looks better than the other in my opinion. Even though the background is a bit too cartoony for the wolf, The forest backdrop compliments it well. Also, the dark colours make the glowing eyes seem more feral and menacing.
The one drawback is that some details are lost, but the good things about this colour scheme outweigh that.

Thank you! I suck at doing backgrounds cause I want the piece to be finished fast and I always screw up what I started. I'm really glad that you like the details and... effects if I could name them like that.

I suppose "effects" is as good a word as any.
I understand that rush to get the picture done. The background just kind of seems... unimpotant. But a slightly rushed background is generally better than a figure floating in space.
