Inoue Mao, japanese actressOh i loved her in Hana Yori Dango.. And after that I watched First Kiss where her character was so funny! She's lovely haha
So I decided I'd draw her someday.. And then I found this pic of her in yukata and decided it must be this one I'd draw!
I think I'm pleased with the outcome.. but the scanner made the shadowing look really rough and the picture blurred.. -_-' Arh I hate my scanner right now..
I think her eyes are a bit off too, compared to the ref...

Very well done! Especially like the hair. The scanner trashes my art too sometimes. 
Inoue Mao is one of my favorite actresses. HYD was a great series. I also really liked her in Juui Dolittle (Dr. Dolittle) where she acted again with Oguri Shun.

I really liked Dolittle because of the vet aspect (wanted to be a vet when I was younger). The awkward relationship between the two of them was cute.

Haha I didn't know any actors at that point but was a bit biased with MatsuJun since he was such an asshole in the beginning but then became a bit cute XD I liked Oguri Shun as Rui better though โฅ Aaaw

Yeah, it was a really nice coming of age story. I always felt kind of bad for Rui though, he seemed sincere with his feelings but willing to set them aside to see his friend happy.

I could tell from first glance that it was Inoue Mao! You captured her face and her spunk perfectly. The yukata pattern must have taken a lot of work, too.
