Description I think this came out sweet. I learnt how to use the mental ray shaders a bit better for this, so things definitely look a lot more realistic than most of my other stuff.

Been looking at a lot of minimalist design lately. Not sure if I hit that mark, but it was fun regardless. First time in a while I haven't had to use Photoshop for post-work, which was great.

That's one heck of a sleek design. Firstly, give me that pc. Then your mind. Great work!

Love the simple playful style of everything, the ship-model and the encapsuled tree, could use more work and details regardless of minimalism though,
Such as the display monitors.

I like the direction its going for

this is hella cool! i love the use of colour and the shininess! what program did you do it in? how did you get the computer display on the desk to work?

I used just Maya. Rendered with Mental Ray. For the computer its a standard phong material with a texture applied, but then I gave it some transparency and a little glow effect, which is also done in Maya.
