On Rocky Top, you'll find this hound dog. More specifically, Smokey's a Bluetick Coonhound. UT has a live Smokey too -- in 1953, they had a contest at a halftime show where a few hound dogs came onto the field and the students voted for their favorite. There have been ten of these live dogs, with the current one debuting in 2013.
UPDATE: The current Smokey is retiring after this season, and Smokey XI was introduced during one of the games.
