Back in 2007 (ahh, a simpler time!) I made a second original character; Reia.I decided I've done plenty of Aria stuff over that time, so I'd mix it up a little.
So here's the same character re-imagined with my painting ability 7 years on.
Originally the hair was a dark purple, but this red is just too gorgeous to not use. Same deal with eyes. Used to be red, but it doesn't go with the red hair - so its now blue
Painting hair is such a pain! it always looks terrible until the last moment.
So what can Reia do? She can perceive the states of higher dimensions, energy and matter. Something of an accompaniment of Aria (who alters matter/energy : 'omni-bending'?)Ā
To do both seems a bit OP.
My god I love frilly clothes. And yeah I got lazy with the hand details.

Do you accept critiques/advise? I am perpetually impressed with the way you masterfully render your paintings to almost life-like standards-it is my main reason for watching you-, but in many of your paintings I have issues with the proportions of your subjects, which is a shame in my eyes, because it seems to undermine your obvious artistic skills. I hope I have worded this carefully enough and don't offend

I'm usually aware of issues, but are too focused on completion - (tunnel vision I guess) that I just want something out of the way. I certainly want to get better.
