Description It was quite the rainy, dreary day. However, just because it was raining that didn't mean that the tokos had the privilege to just laze around... well they shouldn't, at least. Gala, their precious handler, was quite the busy guy so they wanted to help out in any way that they could. Fishing was in high demand, selling for impressive prices. So, a small group of Gala's packs got it in their heads that they should all go fishing and bring back some fish for Gala to sell. Honeybee, Treasure, Everglades, Candice, Loki, and Triste headed out early after making this decision. As they went they ended up meeting with some company unintentionally. Coen, Cade, Sedna, Sweet Feet, and Rednex were headed out as well to do the exact same thing- fish. They all decided to go together, heading out towards one of the lesser-known fishing holes so that they could have their privacy.

Honeybee, the majestic golden dire, led the menagerie onward with pride, head held high. "I'd like to get there and back before it gets too hot out... Though the rain will help." she announced. Triste followed her, tail wagging slightly. The blue male always appeared to be quite sad due to his color and his markings, but he wasn't really. Looks could be deceiving. Triste reminded him of Rednex, the kind piebald male. Candice trotted alongside the blue male. She was a rather calm, pretty chocolate roan female. Everglades was a little bit on the shy side, following Candice and Triste closely, but at a respectful distance. Loki and Treasure, the two tokis stuck together. Loki constantly had a smirk plastered upon his handsome golden face, as if he was scheming something... and in all reality he likely was. Treasure pranced alongside him, her belly swaying slightly as she waddled onward with stubby legs. She was more than a little bit spoiled, the blue bow in her mane making that obvious. "I agree." Candice said with a little smile. "You just don't want to get hot, Honey." Loki said boldly and Treasure smirked with humor. Everglades said nothing, but couldn't help but chuckle a bit himself.

Coen and his group walked off to the side some. Sweet Feet was excited to see her old packmates again, tail wagging happily and tongue lolling. "Hey, I'm with Honey. This heat is pretty rough on us girls with lots of hair and... mass. Not that you're fat, Honey, but you know what I meant." Honey gave her a funny look, but didn't seem too offended. This heat made her a little bit on the cranky side. Cade was laughing like a fool, bouncing around with excitement. He was way too excited to be here. Rednex was quiet, as usual. The piebald male didn't say much of anything, just a word here and there. He wasn't rude, he just liked to be quiet. Sedna walked along behind them, a smile touching her sweet face. She didn't say much either- she just loved this company and watching over the young ones. Coen himself was quiet, but that wasn't unusual for him.

They arrived to the fishing hole at last. Coen dismounted from Sweet Feet, going to take a nice spot at the base of a tree, out of the sprinkling rain. Sedna and Rednex came to sit beside him, on either side of him. Sedna didn't really want to fish- she'd much rather lean up against Cade and enjoy some petting. Rednex was feeling a bit lazy as well, but Cade didn't mind. The piebald male had been working hard lately and he deserved a break. Honeybee set straight to work, wading into the water. Triste and Candice, still sticking together, began to wade in as well, poking their noses and feet around, seeking fish. Everglades hopped right in without much hesitation, tail wagging with excitement. Loki and Treasure stayed to the shallows. Everglades decided to work with them, shepherding some fish towards the tokis so that they could catch them in the shallows, with firm ground beneath their feet, so that they didn't have to swim. Cade leaped right in, though as quietly as he could. Sweet Feet, however, could hardly help herself. She let out a howl and hurtled forwards, leaping into the water, much to the humor of many and dismay to few.

Honeybee took in a deep breath, contented by the scent of nature around her, and dove down into the water. She kicked with her strong, thick legs and made her way down to the bottom where the biggest of the fish hid. They scattered around her, but she was quick female despite her bulk. She had little troubles snatching up a couple of large fish in her maw before returning the surface. She lugged them back onto the bank, dropping them a ways away so that they wouldn't flop back into the water again. Then, she returned for more after a glance at the others. Triste was diving down somewhat deep too, though not as far as Honeybee had gone. He wasn't quite as bold as she was. He was managing to get some decently-sized fish though, depositing them back onto the surface. Candice was keeping pace with him, having decided that he would be her buddy for the day. Together, they used team work to get their fish. Rednex pricked his ears as they splashed, but didn't say or do too much. He was getting sleepy. Everglades, Loki, and Treasure were using teamwork as well. Everglades snatched up some fish here and there, also making them swim towards the tokis, who waited in the shallows. Most of the fish they were bringing in were much smaller, but still certainly counted for something. Sweet Feet and Cade were doing their own thing. Sweet Feet was diving down much as Honeybee had, bringing back some large fish, leaving them flopping on the shore. Cade had gotten distracted and wasn't even fishing anymore... He was just swimming and enjoying himself.

Coen closed his blue eyes, relaxing and listening the various sounds around him. The rain continued to fall ever so softly, barely sprinkling, yet he could hear its pitter pattering. There was also the sound of the tokotas, making various noises of happiness, excitement, and playfulness. Their splashes were rather loud, but Coen didn't mind. Sedna was leaned up against him rather affectionately and he enjoyed her closeness. Rednex had laid his large head in Coen's lap. Coen ran his fingers through the silky mane of the piebald. Rednex made a low noise of contentment and eased off into slumber. Coen wasn't far behind him, dozing off rather quickly with contentment as Honeybee, Everglades, Triste, Candice, Treasure, Loki, Sweet Feet, and Cade continued to fish.

He was awoken by a fish being dropped on his head- Cade's version of 'hey human, time to wake up!' The fish fell off of his head and landed on Rednex's, making the piebald start with a surprised growl. Cade let out a soft laugh, looking at the sight before him. Honeybee, Everglades, Triste, Candice, Treasure, Loki, Sweet Feet, and Cade stood in front of him. They were all dripping wet and quite comical looking, especially the yeti Sweet Feet due to her mass quantities of hair. There was quite a pile of fish accumulated around their paws. The tokotas all looked and seemed to be quite pleased with themselves, their tails wagging with merriment as they looked at Coen expectantly. The young Tokotnan man hauled himself to his feet and promptly began to bag the fish. The tokotas helped where they could, dropping some fish in as Coen held the bag open. He'd decided he'd give all this fish to Gala. He owed the redhead for all she'd done for him anyways.
