a close-up of a watercolor piece that I created for my friend's birthday! I also used charcoal for the shadows and stitching details. Originally, I planned to draw the full body and draw the heart on the chest, but I decided to go for just the head in the end. I think it might be interesting to go for a full body sometime though, especially for creating the tail!
