Description
Launch PadThe old disused Lizard Lifeboat station, Polpeor Cove
The building and superstructure remain from this old lifeboat station, which operated between 1914 and 1961. Obviously it has been put to alternative uses since. Today it stands in testimony to the bravery of the lifeboat crews who launched into the teeth of gales and high seas from here.
