The assault was over before the PDF could muster a response. The aftermath was abominable, bodies eviscerated in every fashion, relics damaged, sigils drawn upon every surface, and the screaming. Fortunately the forces of chaos made a mistakes, broadcasting a captured sister's screams through the warp. A literal beacon to where the chaos traitors hide. The enemy is great, but a proper response is being mustered to lay siege to their Space Hulk and end their threat to the sector once and for all.

I have never heard of an exterminatus being performed on a Space hulk, but first time for everything.

There have destroyed Hulks by blasting them apart and even directing them into suns, but the Imperium will always try and board, to secure the hulk and Savage any archio tec and even ships still viable for renewal and service
