Description
Often refered to as "Hands of God", Polyphony class ships are the main combat model used by humanity. While other vessels boast impressive displays of more conventional armaments, Polyphonys rely more on weaponized spatial manipulation. Using special contrapposto engines, these elegant behemoths can cause violent fluctuations in gravity, even in the middle of a complete vacuum. Such abilities also allow for intense gravitational anomalies, like the spontaneous creation of black holes and adverse gravity fields. By these engines, they are also granted the ability to manipulate the Universe at a subatomic level, and with this, can freely exchange regular matter within an object with anti-matter, resulting in catastrophic annihilation reactions. They can generate large scale dislocation fields as well, and are immune to temporal and dimensional anomalies, the likes of which they can themselves control through non-paradoxical means and traversing. Now, while they do come equipped with advanced point defense systems, conventional weapons of their own, and a sturdy escort fleet when dealing with extremely troubling adversaries, Polyphonys are usually enough to subjugate an entire galaxy on their own. While hiding themselves within ones supermassive black hole or generating one around them, they can expand the ship's sphere of influence wide enough to freely sculpt and manipulate all that falls within reason, without fear of detection or attack. Because of their grossly understated power, they have long been favored as humanity's lead warship.
