Omg, sorry the shading is such shit! About 2/3 of the way through, I was like "mmmmmeh". I so lazy. In my defense, that varnish pattern + shading = death.
Anyway, here's some much needed attention of my little hell-raiser, SSS Lotherus ! EDIT: also please excuse how dA somehow warped the sharp-ness/quality.

The rhythmic, pounding sound of distinct hoofbeats on the $250,000 custom GGT footing was the first deterrent that was noticed by the throngs of spectators nonchalantly swarming the showgrounds. In fact, the hammering footfalls of the hefty 17hh stallion were so distracting to the adjacent show arenas that, very quickly, the neighboring competitors abruptly halted their steeds mid-stride and watched as the demonic varnish roan careened about the premises like he properly owned the place, bellowing a monstrous neigh every few strides. With his ocher-tipped, sunfaded tail flagged high in the summer breeze like some sort of sheik's prized Arabian roaming the Sahara dunes, SSS Valdemar could not go unnoticed. Unfortunately for his rider, Casper Hansen, who was by then so seething that he could be seen simply sulking off towards the margarita tiki hut propped next to the hunter ring, his rogue mount still very much loose and causing a bit of a scene. Show officials, random by-standards, frazzled mothers and even a janitor swiftly found themselves chasing down the proud Knabstrup, lest he find a mare.
It was uncommon – nay, almost impossible – to find young Mr Hansen ever unseated by the unruly antics of his mounts yet Luther, as he was fondly called, was truly... special.
