I'm rather pleased with this.
Getting the various tones in her coat was friggin hard.. I had to keep going on a computer with a good screen (mine's too dark) and.. bleh. Took ages. I'm glad it's done though. ^_^ The only thing I really can't stand is the lower legs and hooves, but I'm too half-arsed to go and fix 'em.And.. it looks pretty great on my puter, lol.. Sorry if it looks messed up on yours.

Actually, I think it looks very nice, you blend colors very well. I like how the coat shines but then darkens around the belly and legs.
You might try adjusting the contrast on your screen, if it's a Window's computer, you may be able to do it by going into the settings of the system, or the control panel. I forget how, but you may be able to adjust the setting's on your monitor either to make the screen lighter, or work with the resolution to make the colors really "pop".

Aww. Old monitors suck, well, especially for hight powered graphic art's programs, like photoshop.
If you get a flatscreen, definitley get one with a gloss on it, or your going to get really wonky colors. I had a flatscreen without a gloss, but I exchanged it for a glossy one, the difference is uncomparable.
The only downside to a glossy monitor, is that you get reflections from lights, or whatever.

I really like this. Very anatomically detailed. However, I'm not too keen on the background color. It kind of dulls it a little bit. I would've done maybe a light pink or a blue- or something brighter. Great artwork, though!

Well, I hate light, fluffy colors (sky/baby blue, girly light pink, etc.) Also, I wanted it to match with the drawings color palette, and for Lauren to stand out.

I always love your artwork. The hooves, especially, look nice, all the time. The shine on them is amazing and sticks out as an incredible detail.

The thumbnail icon wasn't showing up on my devwatch, so I was a little concerned when I saw the name of this deviation, seeing as my name's Lauren. Thankfully, I was greeted with a creature far more beautiful than myself. In fact, I'm rather pleased to share my name with such a pretty lady.
