He was.Β The son of a sea captain from Hamburg, Germany, the family moved to America around the turn of the century to take up farming.Β My grandpa worked the land all his life until grandma died, then my folks took him into their home before he was placed in a seniors home.Β The swine flu took him and others in 1976.Β I screamed his loss from atop a lookout tower outside of town.Β I will miss him always.

This is beautiful. I love the expression, so unusual for a blood elf, the slightly older and ragged look; I also love how free your brush strokes look, natural and effortless like the character itself. Wonderful to look at!Β
