Description
Something quite forlorn about a human born and bred as Alliance to then wake and find themselves not only blind and Forsaken, but pushed into the Horde too. Meek was just a teacher, a local healer, a civilian, and the world is a horribly frightening place now for her. Bless! (At least there's always Shadow magic to help her steal the sight of others)

One for me, been picking this up and tinkering with it off and on for a while now. Finally happy to share it.

Observations of the blind - SilvermoonThe laughter spilled clear across the street, light and delicate, edged with an idle touch of malice. It grew louder, erupting from the tavern window as she passed it by.
Tap... tap-tap... The staff in her hand bounced across the smooth polished flagstones as she carefully made her way. It swept in a relentless searching arc to knock and rebound against the edges of the pavement. Rumbling over the gutter grills and jarring against the myriad steps of Silvermoon.
tap-tappity.. tap...
Shuffling slowly onwards she shook her head, conscious of the foreign noises of the city all around. Even though her eyes had not survived the resurrection, there was nothing whatsoever wrong with her hearing.
Their language, is like a melody, a blurred sinuous snake of a tongue. How do you even follow where one word ends and another begins?
She was acutely aware of the laughter, pondering briefly if she was their target. Tssk... death will ravage you all too... someday... The th The sound of Seagulls"...Miss Baxter"
The seagulls were circling high, just dots in the sky, drifting in lazy circles far above the city. Her gaze trailed wistfully in their wake as they cried and screeched idly to each other.
Lucky souls, with just a stretch of their wings they can sail straight over the tall gate. Over and beyond the walls of Gilneas, the wide world laid out beneath them like an old maids embroidered blanket.
"...Miss Baxter?"
One bird caught her eye, it's pale wings spread wide, catching the last rays of golden sun on the tip of its feathers. Her grey eyes fixed hard upon it, studying the easy effortless way it seemed to hang in the sky.
What can you see from up there?
For a moment the world sheaved away, dropping fast beneath her as she tilted her wings to catch an updraft. Her heartbeat a wild thrum within her tiny feathered body, so vivid and free. She screeched with joy, a piercing shrill caw of delight as she looked down over the cramped city backstre
