The fear that you didn't like me -- or did,
I couldn't handle the posibility of this fact.
My mind swam with ideas,
my heart beating fast.
I don't want to be loved.
I don't want to remember my battered past.
You soon lost intrest when I didn't respond.
Letting go of my heart,
Letting go of our unspoken bond.
I try to believe that time was all a myth,
because I know I hate myself
imagining the one I could have been with.
